FAQ & Terms of Use

Chandelier parts and prisms are made using several methods, some dating back centuries. These handmade prisms and parts vary in size simply because they are essentially "handmade". When we say it is a 2-inch prism, it could be slightly smaller or slightly larger than the stated size. Most of the crystal prisms and chandelier parts we sell are imported from Europe and we get them from different factories due to availability (except name branded items such as Swarovski). Because of this we do not guarantee exact sizing, item to item, order to order. If exact sizing is important to you, call our Customer Service department so we can insure you get exactly what you want. Usually, on a hanging chandelier, minor size differences are unnoticed.

 

Properly Measuring Your Replacement Chandelier Part

To help you find the right size replacement part, always measure the actual prism length and do not include the top bead. So if your prisms or pendalogues measure 4"(not including top bead) then you should look for a 4" prism with a similiar shape. The prism bead or jewel head along with the head pin add approximately 1/2" to 3/4" to the stated prism length. click here for illustration

Size Variations in Chandelier Parts
Please note you may see a slight variation in actual size for any of our chandelier parts & prisms. For example, it is completely normal for a 7" arm to actually measure just under 7", but it is still called 7" or 10", etc. We do our very best to accurately describe the size of our parts but wanted our customers to know some subtle variations in actual size may occur with any of our products.

Duties and Taxes (International Orders)
International Orders please call FAX or email your orders. We no longer accept International orders through our shopping cart. Please call 218-736-7000 to place an international order.

International orders will incur additional shipping charges when order ships. Also, International orders may be subject to customs fees, import taxes, duties, or other fees imposed by your government. ChandelierParts.com does not charge these fees, and we have no control over the amount of the fees. All such fees are your responsibility, and are not included in the shipping charges quoted to you. Please contact your customs office for information about additional fees. If you fail to pay Duties and Taxes on a delivered package, your credit card will automatically be charged these fees plus a $25 fee.

International Orders & Orders Outside 48 Contiguous States
Calculated shipping during checkout applies to orders within the Contiguous 48 US States only. Additional charges for Alaska and Hawaii will be determined at the time your order ships. International orders will incur additional shipping charges when order ships. Also, International orders may be subject to customs fees, import taxes, duties, or other fees imposed by your government. ChandelierParts.com does not charge these fees, and we have no control over the amount of the fees. All such fees are your responsibility, and are not included in the shipping charges quoted to you. Please contact your customs office for information about additional fees.

Please note we do not calculate the additional international charges until we after we process your order. All International Orders will incur extra charges beyond that of what we are able to quote on our web site. Please call 1-218-736-7000 with questions on International Orders.

If your order is shipping to an INTERNATIONAL ADDRESS, please note that all customs fees and import taxes and duties are your responsibility. If you are not available to receive your order or refuse delivery, you are responsible for return shipping costs as well as a 25% restocking fee.


OUR PRODUCTS

1. Our chandelier parts may vary slightly from those photographed. Occasionally production methods or alterations from our suppliers will cause our products to vary ever so slightly. If you need exact specifications on any product please call us at 1-218-736-7000.

2. DO YOU ACCEPT SMALL ORDERS?
We accept all orders, regardless of size. A $4.00 order will be handled the same way a $400 or $4000 order is and we appreciate them all.

 

3. DO YOU HAVE OTHER PRODUCTS?
All our products are shown on our web site. We constantly add new chandelier parts, but everything you see on our site is what we carry. We do not have a "back room" with lots of old chandelier parts in it. Our product line is limited to the best selling replacement parts for chandeliers and other lighting fixtures. If you don't see it on our web site, we do not offer it.

4. "I HAVE THIS OLD CHANDELIER...."
We get many requests every day where people think we are a matching or restoration service for old chandeliers. We cannot hope to match your replacement needs to our parts. We deal in terrific volume to keep our prices low and do not offer restoration services or advice. Please don't send a picture and expect us to tell you what you need to fix-up your old fixture.

5. DO YOU SELL WHOLESALE?
We have a single price list for all our customers, who are mainly wholesale buyers. We do sell direct to the public, but our main business is to lighting designers, restorers and builders. Qualified ongoing resellers may apply for "gold" status which allows them to purchase at "end bracket" pricing all the time regardless of quantity. A sales tax resale number is needed along with a minimum order "buy in", depending upon the type of business.

6. PRODUCT LINE
We are always interested in adding products. If you know of something we should add or if you are a manufacturer who stumbled upon our site and have products you think we should have, drop us a line. We are adding new products at least monthly, sometimes daily and always looking for more interesting items.

7. WHAT ARE YOUR SHIPPING TIMES?
We do our very best to ship all orders within 3-5 days after your order is placed. Our main shipping method is UPS Ground. If you need quicker service, either choose the RUSH service that guarantees the order to ship within 24 hours .. or call us at (218) 736-7000 for Expedited Services.

8. BACK ORDERS
As we are daily receiving products and receiving orders directly as well as online, our actual inventory numbers are not shown on ChandelierParts.com. From time to time, there are products on orders that are out of stock. Sometime we receive the products in within a day or two, however sometimes it can take a number of weeks. We attempt to contact customers when their order won't be able to ship within several days due to lack of inventory. In these cases, the Customer has the choice to either: 1. We hold the entire order until all products are available and order can ship complete; or 2. We can cancel back ordered items and process the rest of the order. If we do not hear back from the Customer, we will use option #1. If the Customer would like the order split to ship in stock items immediately and ship back order items when they come in, they will be responsible for a minimum $9.85 additional shipping charge.

9. WHAT OTHER PRODUCT LINES DO YOU OFFER?
We are the nations largest supply house to the auction and the antique dealer industries. Additionally we have a supply house to dollar, variety and craft stores called: 99 Cent Wholesale and Buy12.com . Many of our customers shop several of our web sites.

10. IS THE TOP BEAD OR JEWEL HEAD AND PIN INCLUDED IN THE MEASUREMENT?
No, the prism bead or jewel head along with the head pin add approximately 1/2" to 3/4" to the stated prism length.

11. ARE THE TOP BEAD OR JEWEL HEAD AND PIN INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
Yes, if the image of the prism is shown with bead or jewel head and head pin, it is included in the prices stated.

12. Do you guarantee a Brass or Chrome Head Pin on orders under 500?
No, although most Prisms and Spears do come with brass head pins, we do not guarantee (on orders under 500) that they will. If you specifically need brass or chrome head pins we suggest that you order the necessary pins to insure yours needs are met. Wires, Pins, Clips

13. RETURNS
We have a 30 day return policy on all products. Customers may return products, less a 25% restocking fee, up to 30 days after their purchase for a cash refund less S&H.
